This is so good. I need to listen again. I lost my dad back in January (2021), exactly one month after I had a hysterectomy due to cancer. One week after my surgery, I found out I was cancer-free so I was excited, hopeful, and felt like everything was looking up. Then, my world was shattered so soon after that. I was confused and even a little angry at God - "Why not just let the cancer take me, God?!?" I asked Him, but He just answered with supernatural peace, and the feeling that everything will be okay eventually. My dad was a Christian, so I believe I will see him again.
I share your pain. I lost my dad suddenly in 2021 as well. Glory to God you are free of cancer. The loss is devastating, but thankfully God has purposefully restored your health. Be well!
Thank you evans family!! I raised three sons after their father passed away 16 years ago. I continued to serve and teach them. I lost my youngest son two weeks ago. It was harder than losing my husband, mother or father. My son believed in God but within a a year and a half he slipped into depression. He went from rehab doing well Bible study and in matter of weeks he overdose . I’m saved mother and felt God take him because a whirlwind came through my body at his exact passing. I know he was saved from this world. I am truly suffering. Please pray for me and my other two sons! Evans you all have encouraged me to continue on this journey with the Lord!!! Thanks

I'm so incredibly sorry for your deep loss! I lost my Mom 11 months ago, then my Dad 3 months after her this past year. So difficult, such a dark journey in grief. 4yrs ago my 2 youngest children were murdered....I have started a new channel on grief, love & loss. 'Warriors Of Godly Grit' just a month ago. I find it extremely hard to join a community of grievers. Alot of Biblical teaching which is so needed, much so. Yet so is grief awareness. We grieve hard cuz we love hard. If love is holy, then grief is holy too. God bless you & be well. Each significant loss is unique to each of us. It's our loss! Again, I am sorry.

I agree with Priscilla, writing down journals about what he has done or is about to do works. Most time when I go back to the journal I realized how Good God is because unknown to me he answers almost all my requests. Indeed he is Good.

Chrystal always seems to be quiet in the conversation - like listening but not being able to speak. I observe that even though they are all grieving the loss as a family, She somehow is feeling it even deeper than you see. I pray that the Father of love will imbed his comfort in & around her. That He hold her close to his Bosom & just protect her heart while she goes through the experience that may take years to be at peace with. I say that because I saw it fist hand with my mum loosing her mum at a young age & 20 years she continued grieving until she found peace. Your mum is your mum it’s like your everything - so I feel her sadness when I watch her silence. 🙏🏽🥲
